Hope you can make it to the 2nd Annual Clam Alley Pottery ClamBake Extravaganza!
Sunday, October 11, 2:00 - 6:00pm 59 Sherman Street Riverside, Rhode Island
Visit the pottery studio and see new work by Paul Olson including: Bonsai Pots, Flower Pots, Serving Bowls and "Liam the Lion Bowls". Take a Bonsai Garden Tour and find a bargain in our end of the year potted plant sale. We have many new pieces for sale, some pots that are kinda nice, some elegantly ugly.
Refreshments include Clamcakes and Chowda of the Clam or the Corn Variety, Snickerdoodles, Music and Merriment for all.
At 2:30pm Marvin Novogrodsky Performs "Bugging Out" for the kids, an educational entertainment piece to encourage reading and science, with illustrations by Paul Olson. See the video at marvmarv.com.

Liam the Lion Bowls - We have begun a new line of bowls in honor of Paul's grandson, Liam Paul Benjamin Olson, born last December 26th, at 1 pound 11 ounces. This heir to the Clam Alley Pottery fortune has endured much in his first 9 months, and thankfully, finally went home this past week, a very chunky boy at about 15 pounds. All proceeds from the Liam bowls will go to the March of Dimes to help premie babies and their parents. Hats off to Karin and Eric, proud and devoted parents, and to Prince Liam, by far the most beautiful boy in all the universe.
Other News: We
got New Shelves! Which may not seem all that grand, but for an undersized
pottery like Clam Alley, space is sparce, and there never seem to be enough horizontal surfaces. Sending a big THANK YOU to Jack Hoover at Eagleville Bonsai
for all the free materials and help, its great to have a place to store
things when you make um'. Thanks also to Manny and Richard, and Mom and
Carol for all your assistance.
A variety of Clam Alley Pots are always available for sale at New England Bonsai Gardens in Bellingham Mass. We have recently run out of items in the online store, but will be posting more new pieces in the coming weeks. Photographing and cataloging work is tedious and Paul would always rather be in the clay studio. Anyone interested in doing this type of work in exchange for pottery or plants should feel free to be in touch.
We are planning an open house for holiday shopping in December, join our mailing list to receive that announcement.
